Insha-allah...

My dad will undergo a heart bypass surgery tonight (tomorrow morning Malaysian time). This news came as a shock to me as well as to the rest of the family. I talked to him last Sunday night and he seemed fine and upbeat. He said that the doctors and the facilities are top-notch, and they should not be expecting any major complications. Anyway, the surgery will be done at Hospital Ampang Puteri, close to our house. The whole operation will take about 6-7 hours as the doctors will carve open his chest, remove the blocked arteries (there are 6-7 of them), and graft on the new ones that will be taken from his leg.
